Delfin partners with Campus Javi Martínez

What do the International Spanish football player Javi Martinez and our Delfin student recruitment executive Cristina Cañas have in common?

As you can see in the picture, both are holding a trophy, Javi is holding the 2012 European football cup when they won the UEFA Euro 2012, and Cris is holding The Sam Maguire Cup, which is the cup awarded to winners of the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship.

Apart from that similarity, both are from two small regions located in northern Spain, Javi form Navarra and Cris from La Rioja.

Not only do they share their love for football and Spain, but also they are living in another country and they know the importance of learning another language.

Both live abroad, Javi in Munich and Cris in Dublin, therefore they speak in another language every day, for their professional and personal life.

Being able to communicate with people from all over the word is one of the most challenging, enriching and beautiful experiences that people can have. You can always learn from their life backgrounds, cultures, and experiences of the local people, and this is thanks to the ability to speak a common language, like English.

We know that studying and learning can sometimes be tough, but we have to admit that at the same time it is very rewarding.

There are some moments, that the best way to learn is without realizing that you are learning, but let me explain you that: Our Delfin students have social activities every day, most of the time they are having a great time, no matter if it is in a museum, quiz night or in a party, during this time, they are practicing their listening and speaking skills, so, there keeping improving their English.

This year, we are delighted to announce that Spanish kids are going to be very lucky and they have the chance to experience this in the same ways as delfiners do, they are going to enjoy and learn English at the same time.

Delfin English School is involved in a project in a Spain: Javi Matinez football camp.

Spanish kids from 5 to 17 years old are going to have activities based on specific football skills trainings, games, exercises and competitions in other sports too. Moreover they are going to have German and English Classes every day, and here is where Delfin is going to be 100% involved. Our teachers Sabrina Ryan and David Mc Cole are going to lead the English lessons over three weeks, teaching English in a fun but professional way. The kids will enjoy this so much, that they won´t even realize they are learning while having an amazing time.

Sports and Education hold hands together this time, a very fulfilling way to learn English through sport and its values.

We are amazingly grateful to Javi Martinez football camp for giving us such a great opportunity and we wish all the kids, teachers, coaches and coordinator an unforgettable time and a unique lifetime experience that lasts in their minds forever.

The Delfin Team!!
